Hey Students!

This year we will continue to construct the mathematics foundation you need in order to be successful in high
school mathematics. As you know, you all need to pass four years of math in the high school, and it is my goal that you do
just that! We will have an exciting and fun year as I love to learn with you and I love to laugh with you (notice learning
comes FIRST ;) ) I will expect you to work very hard, to take good notes, to participate in class discussions and
experiments, and to complete your homework each night. In turn, you can expect me to be patient with you, to find multiple
ways to explain a concept if you just don't seem to get it and to provide you with any additional help and resources that
I have available. It is my goal for you to be successful!!
I will always
have websites posted here that will provide you with extra help for the current Unit. Some will be teaching websites
and some will be practice websites. In your time on the computer if you find a website that you feel would benefit your
classmates, please email me the link and I would be happy to add it to the list! Cool Math (what could be better than that??) S.O.S. Math (S.O.S - means HELP!) Virtual Manipulatives (An excellent site for the visual learners!) We will be spending
some time studying geometry this year...feel free to preview this webquest on triangles by simply clicking on the pyramid.

Math Help Days: Tuesday and Thursday at 8:15am (check schedule
for tutoring math teacher), Wednesday at 8:15am. Monday and Friday, as necessary, when I am not in a meeting.
